"Initially, I had some reservations with getting a personal trainer.  After some soul searching, I realized that despite all of the "hype" of a PT, my real concern was if a trainer's program would work for me.  I had been consistent with a cardiovascular regime of 4-5 times per week for over a year and a half and yet, I was not able to manage my weight as I thought I should.  I was getting more and more warnings from my doctors regarding weight related health issues.  ... I simply did not feel good.

 

I began to educate myself more regarding my health and the one thing that kept recurring regarding weight management was the need to build muscle mass and portion control eating.  Like a large percentage of the female population, I had my own concerns with "building muscle".  There were also the normal financial concerns with associated costs of acquiring the services of a personal trainer.  Despite all of my concerns, I knew I needed some help.

 

Within 1 week of the program with Jade, I knew that it was one of the best investments that I had ever made.  Almost immediately, I experienced results with my sleep quality and an increase in energy level.  In exactly 4 weeks after I began the program, I attended a gathering with family members that I had not seen in a while.  Quite a few people positively commented on my looks.  This was another confirmation that I'd made the right choice in going with a trainer.  After just 2 months in the program, I had already lost 6 pounds and reduced my body fat by 2.5%.  The most problematic part of my body, my waistline, had shrunk 1.5 inches.  Not to mention, another 2.25 inches from the hips.  I couldn't believe it!!  After 6 months into the program, I am pleased to say that I have reduced my body fat by 5.9% and have shrunk 2 complete jean sizes!  I feel great!  I sleep better!  I have more energy than I ever remember having!  I can lift the 5 gallon water refills for my cooler with ease.  I am not experiencing any of the health issues that I was experiencing prior to beginning the program.

 

I attribute much of my success directly to Jade Roberts.  His encouragement, accountability, coaching, and direction is indeed working.  In my opinion, it is key that the personalities of the trainer/trainee mix.  Jade's continuous display of patience, compassion, professionalism, humor, candor, and flexibility has contributed greatly to my success.  Above all, his ability to seek and understand my behavior drivers, along with his genuine concern for my well being, has been the real key to my success with this program!
